TikTokers’ rush at Kot Addu railway station prompts police intervention
MUZAFFARGARH – TikTokers’ rush at Kot Addu railway station caused a great deal of inconvenience to commuters, particularly women on Wednesday, compelling police to intervene and bring the situation under control. According to police sources, an unusual influx of TikTok content creators at the railway station had been causing serious disruption for passengers. Citizens reported difficulties in movement due to overcrowding, with women facing hurdles in accessing the premises. Taking immediate notice of the situation, SHO City Kot Addu, Shahid Fareed Khakh, reached the spot and observed the situation. He held detailed discussions with the TikTokers and made it clear that such activities at public places that cause inconvenience to public would not be tolerated. He warned that strict legal action would be taken in case of any future violation. Eyewitnesses stated that a large number of TikTokers remained engaged in making videos at the station throughout the day, resulting in overcrowding and daily difficulties for commuters. Later, the SHO also met with railway station officials and it was agreed to enhance police motorcycle patrolling at entry and exit points of the station to ensure smooth flow of passengers and prevent any untoward incidents.
