Jake Paul suffers awkward wardrobe malfunction on stage during rally appearance with Donald Trump

The US President called Paul on stage at a campaign rally in Hebron, Kentucky and endorsed him for political office

Jake Paul joined US President Donald Trump on stage at a campaign rally in Hebron, Kentucky, on Thursday evening, but the influencer-turned-boxer became the subject of discussion after an unexpected wardrobe mishap during his appearance.

The rally took place at the Verst Logistics facility, where Trump spent the afternoon addressing supporters, praising allies and delivering remarks to a crowd of supporters wearing red campaign hats. During the event, the president invited Paul on stage and spoke positively about the boxer’s personality and public profile.

Trump described Paul as a “courageous guy” and “a hell of a fighter”, adding that he believed the social media personality could potentially pursue a future in politics.

Paul, who publicly supported Trump in a lengthy video released in 2024, addressed the crowd and spoke about how the former president had influenced him. He told attendees that Trump had inspired him and “taught” him courage.

However, reporters covering the rally noted that Paul’s appearance became difficult to ignore as visible sweat marks appeared on his clothing while he spoke.

Paul was dressed in a light tan suit with a white shirt and tie that appeared slightly ill-fitting. As his speech continued, noticeable sweat stains formed under the arms of his shirt and gradually spread through the fabric of his suit jacket, becoming increasingly visible against the light-coloured outfit.

The moment quickly attracted attention online, where viewers shared reactions on social media platform X. One user asked, “Who is that sweaty guy?” Another wrote, “Holy sweaty pit stains, Jake Paul.” A third comment read, “This guy was trying to decide if he should point out the pit stains. I guess he decided he’d let him drown.”

The incident carried a degree of irony given Paul’s business ventures in the personal care industry. In 2024 he launched a deodorant brand called “W”, marketed towards active lifestyles and available through retailers including Walmart and Amazon.
