Truth about viral images that gained 10m likes debunked

Online buzz intensified after stylist Law Roach recently suggested that the couple may have already married privately

A viral image depicting Zendaya and Tom Holland at a supposed wedding has surpassed 10 million likes on Instagram, though the widely shared post features AI-generated visuals rather than photographs from a real ceremony.

Online discussion intensified after stylist Law Roach recently suggested that the couple may have already married privately. His remarks prompted widespread speculation among fans, leading to the circulation of digitally created wedding images that quickly spread across social media platforms.

One of the most widely circulated posts showing AI-generated images of Zendaya and Holland on their “wedding day” has attracted more than 10 million likes on Instagram. The post prompted excitement among fans who believed it could confirm rumours of a secret ceremony.

However, there has been no verified confirmation that the actors have married. The images circulating online were created using artificial intelligence and do not depict an actual event.

Zendaya and Holland confirmed their relationship publicly in 2021 but have largely kept details of their personal lives private.

Roach has previously joked that Zendaya could become a “secret bride” when the time eventually comes. In earlier interviews, he noted that wedding preparations had not begun, partly due to the actress’s busy schedule, including work connected to the next instalment of the Dune film series.

Speculation also increased after Zendaya was seen wearing a simple gold band on her left ring finger shortly before Roach’s latest comments. Observers noted that the ring appeared different from her engagement ring, which is a 5.02-carat east-west cushion-cut diamond designed by British jeweller Jessica McCormack.

The couple are also expected to appear together in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film The Odyssey, set to release on July 17.
